Initial Registration for Overseas Nurses (IRON Program)

The Registration Bridging Program for overseas qualified Nurses  or  Initial Registration for Overseas Nurses (IRON) is  a short  course, non-award program in Australia for the Nurses who is  qualified and  working as a registered Nurse in their country other  than Australia. This is an orientation programme for overseas Nurses to get oriented to the health care system in Australia.
This course is a mandatory requirement for the overseas Nurses to get registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) and allows to work as a registered nurse in Australia.
The overseas Nurses who successfully complete the RBP/ IRON will attain the necessary competencies set by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council’s (ANMAC) National Competency Standards for registration as a Registered Nurse with the APHRA.

Australian Registered Nurse Training Program (ARNTP)

Duration: 18 weeks
Eligibility: Bachelor Degree in Nursing with two years experience. Clinical placements are provided by institutes.
English Language Requirement: Overall 7.0 with 7.0 in each bands
Intake: May & October

Bachelor of Nursing (Advance Standing)

Duration: One Year
Eligibility: Bachelor Degree in Nursing/ Diploma in Nursing
English Language Requirement: Overall 7.0 with 7.0 in each bands
Intake: February & July
Annual Fees: AUD 27690
No further IELTS or Adaptation required for registration as RN

Bachelor of Nursing (Advance Standing)

Duration: Two Years
Eligibility: Bachelor Degree in Nursing/Diploma in Nursing
English Language Requirement: Overall 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each band
Intake: February
Annual Fees: AUD 24900
No further adaptation required for registration. PSW for 2 years after the course.

Bachelor of Nursing for Overseas Qualified Nurses

Duration: Two Years
Eligibility: Bachelor Degree in Nursing/Diploma in Nursing
English Language Requirement: Overall 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each band
Intake: February
Annual Fees: AUD 25000
No further adaptation required for registration. PSW for 2 years after the course.

Bachelor of Nursing (Graduate Entry)

Duration: Two Years
Eligibility: Any Science Graduate
English Language Requirement: Overall 7.0 with at least 6.5 in each band / TOEFL (Internet based) Min score of 96 with
no individual score less than 24
Intake: February & July
Annual Fees: AUD 25200
No further adaptation required for registration. PSW for 2 years after the course.

Bachelor of Nursing

Duration: Three Years
Eligibility: Higher Secondary or Equivalent
English Language Requirement: Overall 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each band
Intake: February & July
Annual Fees: AUD 20600 - 27690

Master of Nursing

Duration: 1-2 Years
Eligibility: Bachelor Degree in Nursing
English Language Requirement: Overall 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each band
Intake: February & July
Annual Fees: AUD 23550 – 25200
Post Study Work (PSW) for 2 years after the course.
